last day of the month/fiscal year

I am:

on my 4th cup of coffee,

just out of another mind-numbing meeting for the re-location,

channelling my inner smart-ass colonel at totally inappropriate moments,

bored out of my scull,

buried in paperwork,

swamped in budget issues,

behind on my work email,

still trying to remember why my ankle hurts,

dreading the errors I'll find in the yearly statistics snapshot I'll take in 2 hours,

itching to read my friend's list,

debating whether I should buy Stargate season 5 or season 2 first,

one swallow away from my 5th cup on my way for a refill

i just bought season 2, have season 4 and thought i shud start from the begining - but they didnt have season 1 in the shop lol. just buy them both!

Well it's a bit complicated. I've watched seasons 1 and 3 and I'm finishing 4 any day now. I don't know if I should go back (season 2 has some amazing episodes, both slash- and plot-wise) or keep moving forward so by the time 8th season starts I will have seen 5, 6 and 7th also. I wish I could afford to buy 2 boxsets at a time but unfortunately I have to import them in Greece and my credit card can't take the strain at the moment. Damn.

More Jack/Daniel goodness in Season 2, though some really good team eps in Season 5--if that helps with the decision...;-)

The slash in season 2 is what makes the decision so frigging difficult, episodes like The Serpent's Lair and Need and One False Step. ::sigh:: And to think that for my canon-driven mind this is pre-slash since Jack hadn't laid a finger on Daniel until Forever In a Day.
::moan:: I can't make up my mind.., I'll have to flip it!

Respect for Shau'ri, for daniel and himself. Jack is a man of honor, not an hormone-driven, sex-crazed teenager. I can't imagine canon!Jack, the family man, degrading his relationship with Daniel by making him cheat on his wife. I think I need to write one of those "my Jack" memes, I have a lot I see in Jack that I need to put down in paper.

No but I happen to think Pete is the best thing that happened to Sam next to Martuf, so you could say I'm a Sam/Pete 'shipper. Great chemistry those two. =) But first and most I'm a Jack/Daniel 'shipper; says so in my user info (http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=queenofstars&mode=full). They are soooo doing it! ::grin::
